© Michelle Howard Smith - All Rights Reserved Aromatherapy isn't just for enjoying a pleasant scent. Although it is good for that too it's so much more beneficial. Aromatherapy relieves stress, eases symptoms of disease, lifts moods, and promotes a positive emotional response that paves the way to a spirit of forgiveness. Essential oils are the core of aromatherapy. The aroma from the essential oils are released by a diffuser, humidifier, vaporizer, steamer or other unit. There's no therapy without the aroma so it's safe to say that you need to carefully choose which essential oils you are going to use for therapeutic purposes. Certain essential oils have the properties associated with them to release negative emotions, trigger reactions in the brain to release emotional trauma, promote emotional healing and restore balance to the mind and emotions. When negativity and bad memories are released, forgiveness is an easier task to perform. The number of essential oils available for aromatherapy to promote forgiveness is abundant and you should try a number of them to see which ones provide you with the most success. In order to forgive, your aromatherapy oils should encourage a relaxing environment. Here are some of the aromatherapy oils that are recommended to help promote forgiveness: *Melissa *Geranium *Frankincense *Lavender *Bergamot *Peppermint *Ylang ylang *Jasmine *Sandalwood *Rosewood *Lemon Topically apply or diffuse a number of these essential oils at various times to foster mental clarity, release of painful memories and encourage an overall experience of peace. Aromatherapy is a safe alternative amongst a number of other means to help you with forgiveness. |
